Matte, dense and non-reflective, so a serge skirt reads as part of the masking. Its flame retardancy is built into the fibre. Dry clean only.

Send the platform length, the drop to the floor and the finish. Our machinists cut and sew the skirt so the hem sits at the floor, not above it.

Are stage skirts available in standard sizes?
No. Every skirt is made to order, cut to your platform's length and drop, with corners and stair openings placed where your staging needs them.
Which fabric is best for a stage skirt?
Turo molton is the everyday skirting cloth: about 320 gsm, 3.0 m wide, in black or white. Wool serge, about 550 gsm in black, red, blue or grey, suits a skirt that should match wool serge masking.
Are the fabrics fire rated?
Yes. Wool serge is inherently flame retardant, built into the fibre. Molton is flame retarded to AS 1530 standards and re-treated every 2 to 3 years, sooner if it gets wet. Our fire treatment service re-treats it and supplies a treatment certificate.
What do you need from us for a quote?
The platform length, the drop from deck to floor, flat or pleated, and the cloth if you know it. A phone photo of the stage helps.
How should skirts be stored between events?
In a drape bag sized to the folded skirt. It keeps the cloth clean and dry between events, which protects a treated fabric. See covers and storage.
